Reflex Dance Studio have taken a new approach to their 80's Christmas Party and are offering the following:

- Makeover: ridiculous 80's Christmas outfits
- Winter cocktails
- Activities: Dance class/ Snowboarding lesson
- 80 photo shoot
- Dinner/ 80's dance party

London Cocktail Week

How on trend are Silver Swan this week! We were just blogging about Mixologists and low and behold, London is in the middle of their annual cocktail week! From the 7th to 13th October 2013.

Silver Swan does not encourage drinking but on this occasion we are encouraging you to get out and about in town and experience the events which are taking place. You could learn an awful lot about serving and preparing the finest cocktails in the big city, also table service (lots of events are mixed with restaurants - good thinking if you ask me) and above all; knowledge about the brand. You don't find a cocktail server stumbling over the counter trying to remember what ingredients to add to your French Martini. They are highly skilled individuals of the hospitality industry. 

Get involved and attend the host of seminars, pop up bars, tastings and master classes, aimed at both novices and experienced professionals - you never stop learning about this art form.

Freeze Festival 2013

The Freeze Festival has moved location this year to Clapham Common - Silver Swan is happy with this re location as it is closer to our headquarters. On our doorstep we will be privvy to a winter wonderland in South West London, live music, alpine shopping, interactive lectures and of course a taster (only a taster) to aprez on the mountain!!

Get your thermals on, get your ski buddys together and get down to Freeze Festival on Clapham Common on the 27th November to 1st December!!

If this doesn't get you in the winter season mood then nothing will!!

A reputable hotel in Austria is looking to recruit a chef to join their small team this coming winter. To work alongside the owners and 2 x hosts, you would be solely responsible for all the catering for up to 35 guests. 

Country -       Austria 

Resort -         Saalbach

Pay -             800 euros per month (Austrian contract)

Dates -          Early Dec - End April

Beauty Therapist/Housekeeper - Val d'Isere (private chalet)

A 5* luxury privately owned chalet, based in Val d’Isere, is looking to recruit an in house beauty therapist to join their team for this coming winter season. This beauty therapist will be solely responsible for all spa areas of the chalet, including the pool, hot tubs, massage rooms, sauna and relaxation area. The role includes daily treatments as requested by the guests. The role will also involve large amounts of daily housekeeping of the chalet when treatments are not required by the guests.

The ideal candidate will also be qualified in sports massage. Any additional qualifications such as manicure, pedicure and alternative types of massage would be an advantage
